  • 250 ml water
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Pepper
  • 10 ml vinegar [The vinegar prevents the
    egg yolk from breaking.]
  • 3 eggs

Method

  1. Prepare the water: Fill a saucepan or frying pan with 250 ml of water. Add a pinch of salt and pepper for extra flavor if desired. Pour in 10 ml of vinegar, which helps the egg whites set without spreading. Bring the water to a gentle boil.  
  2. Poach the eggs: Carefully crack the eggs into the simmering water, one at a time. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the yolk is still runny.
